BEARD TRANSPLANT

BEARD TRANSPLANT

Beards have an aesthetic value for men in our society. There can be many reasons for deficiencies in the beard area. Among these, there are congenital causes, which are called cornering among the people, burns and a trauma. The deprivation that occurs in the beard can negatively affect people in terms of aesthetic anxiety and can cause self-confidence to break. Beard transplantation is applied with a method called FUE transplantation method. In this method, the hair follicles taken one by one from the donor area of the patient are transferred to the beard area. One of the main reasons for using the FUE sowing method is that there is no scar after the procedure.
HOW IS THE BEARD TRANSPLANTATION DONE?
FUE sowing method is used in beard transplantation. In this method, the transplantation process first starts with the determination of the donor area. In beard transplantation, it is preferred to remove the hair on the neck and cheekbones, which are close to the beard area and are not aesthetically necessary. If sufficient graft (1 graft contains 2 to 3 hair follicles on average) cannot be obtained from these regions, the hair of the nape region is preferred. Hair follicles taken from the nape area are preferred as they will not cause any deprivation in that area. Even the patient's own barber will not realize that there is a decrease in this area. In beard transplantation, the area to be transplanted is determined and how many hair follicles should be transplanted to the area. After this, the channel opening process is performed in the area to be planted. Grooving is one of the most important parts of the planting process. It is very important that the channels are suitable for the width of the hair follicles to be planted and that they are opened at the right angle so that the beard looks natural. After the channel opening process, it is time to take the grafts from the donor area. A determined number of grafts are taken one by one from the donor area by means of a very fine tip and high-circuit device called a micro motor. The hair follicles taken are placed one by one in the channels opened in the area to be planted. Thus, the planting process is completed.
AFTER THE BEARD TRANSPLANTATION
After the beard transplant, the person is discharged. The first wash is carried out in the center where beard transplantation is performed within 1 to 3 days after beard transplantation. Until the first wash, the patient should carefully protect the transplanted area. The reason for this is that it takes a certain time for the planted roots and the skin to fully unite after the planting process. The patient should not touch or wash the beard area with water until the first wash. Apart from this, perfume should not come into contact with cologne-like substances. In addition, the planting area should not be shaved until the time your doctor approves. You should definitely not use harmful substances such as tobacco products and alcohol in the first week. Although it varies from person to person after the transplantation process, a process called shock shedding is experienced. This process can occur between 30 and 90 days after sowing and the transplanted hairs fall out. Shock shedding is normal and should not be alarmed. Because only the transplanted hairs fall out, the transplanted hair roots are still subcutaneously. Achieving the desired result as a result of beard transplantation occurs in an average of 6 to 9 months. It is up to the individual to shorten this process. With the right care and hygiene, the healing process works more healthily.
